Communication Technology (ICT) Centre on Friday December
9, 2016. The event begins at 10:00
AM in Vaudreuil-Dorion in
the presence of:
- Mr Guy Pilon, Mayor of
Vaudreuil-Dorion
- The Honourable Marc Garneau, Minister of Transport, Government
of Canada
- His Excellency Per Sjögren, Ambassador of Sweden to Canada
The event will include remarks from Mark
Henderson, Chairman of Ericsson
Canada, on this significant investment and includes a tour
of the facility.
The inauguration of Ericsson's Global ICT Centre in Vaudreuil-Dorion reflects Ericsson's ongoing
commitment to R&D investment in Canada, and represents an important step in
our ongoing ICT transformation. This is the third Global ICT Centre
to open, following the Linköping (September
2014) and Rosersberg (January
2016) sites in Sweden.
This 20,000 sq m state-of-the-art centre creates the foundation
of the next generation of cloud infrastructure & services
demanded by industry and enables over 20,000 R&D engineers
globally to accelerate innovation cycles, reduce cost and host 5G
development all under one roof.
Due to limited space at the event, accreditation is
mandatory. Please take note that no photography or
filming is allowed in the technical spaces. Photos and
