BRC Gas Equipment Featured at NGV World Fair CHERASCO, Italy and
CERRITOS, Calif., May 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The first
edition of the CNG vehicles World Wide Exhibition will be held in
Bolzano (Italy) from June 8 to 12 during the 11th ENGVA Annual
Conference. The Exhibition will feature the major European vehicle
manufacturers as well as leading technology companies in the
automotive sector. BRC Gas Equipment, a leader in gaseous fuels
technology, will showcase their successful CNG fuel systems,
demonstrating their suitability and proven success in meeting the
transportation needs of the public sector. A Citroen Xsara Picasso
1.8 16V and a Ford C-Max 2.0 16V will be on display. Both cars are
five door compact sedans equipped with BRC's Sequent Fastness
system. Sequent Fastness is a new, sequentially injected CNG fuel
system allowing conversion of the most technologically current
engines available while retaining compliance EOBD norms and the
stricter engine emission rules mandated today. Sequent Fastness
equipped vehicles will be available to visitors for test drives.
BRC will also present the IMPCO Eclipse Heavy Duty Engine
Management system, a CNG conversion system for buses and heavy duty
diesel applications in on-road and off-road applications. The
Eclipse system allows a diesel engine to operate on CNG, thereby
eliminating the pollution problems associated with diesel. The
system is built around IMPCO's core products with additional
technology applied in a building block approach designed to meet
ever more stringent emissions regulations. In addition to the world
leading gaseous fuels technology showcased, BRC will also launch a
new line of Compressors for CNG refuelling stations. The equipment
has been designed and produced entirely in-house with the goal of
creating a CNG Compressor which assures maximum safety, reliability
