COLUMBUS, Ohio, Aug. 29, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- American Electric
Power (NYSE: AEP) is seeking offers for the supply of coal to one
or more of its generating stations. AEP is seeking delivery
proposals for:
- Up to 290,000 tons of NYMEX coal, FOB barge, beginning in
October 2017 and ending in
December 2017;
- Up to 1.375 million tons of NYMEX coal, FOB barge, beginning in
January 2018 and ending in
December 2018;
- Up to 500,000 tons of CSX rail coal, beginning in January 2018 and ending in December 2018;
- Up to 1 million tons of Powder River Basin coal, FOB rail
(joint-line served), beginning in October
2017 and ending in December
2017;
- Up to 3.3 million tons of Powder River Basin coal, FOB rail
(joint-line served), beginning in January
2018 and ending in December
2018; and
- Up to 1 million tons of Illinois Basin coal, FOB barge, beginning in
January 2018 and ending in
December 2018.
AEP is open to alternative pricing structures or other
innovative, value-added concepts. Proposals with alternative terms
will be accepted. Accepted bids will be at AEP's discretion.

5 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2017. Proposals can be
