Norfolk Southern Corp (NSC) Share Price

They deserve $150 and lower. But this is a good start. There handling of employees, to the transport of toxic chemicals is very unfortunate.

They should be on the hook for making all people in Ohio whole, and cover ALL costs there derailment causes. Which in reality, should close to bankrupt them.

It's unfortunate the Bank run happened when it did, taking this disaster out of the media.

There you have it, this evil sack of garbage company has hit its lowest share price in two years. The price of screwing over average citizens and polluting the environment is catching up to them. New Palestine is going to cost them over a billion dollars and people know it now. I really abhor this company and the evil people that run and own it.

Now it's starting to fall, lots of accidents in Ohio where they just destroy people's property and refuse to pick up the phone. Getting onto the radar and they are goung to get sued by a lot of people in East Palestine and surrounding areas. Just a really crappy company with no social conscience.

I guess so. And just leaving train wrecks for months at a time without cleaning them up if nobody is upset enough. Honestly, their social conscience is seriously lacking.

Does the company view people getting sick and dying a cost of doing business?

East Palestine, Cleveland Cliffs, Springfield Ohio, Ravenna Twp. All in the past month or so in Ohio. Norfolk Southern gives a lot of money to Dewine so nothing drastic will happen. Now if shareholders like Warren Buffet suddenly grow souls and divest, then we may see a free fall.

Surprised this hasn't seen a free fall after they poisoned east Palestine, Ohio with their train wreck.

I didn't think too much on it, until I saw that the guy had over 11,000 followers.

If this guy is legit, his targets are interesting. He is saying anywhere from 90 to 110, and that NSC is worth about 111 to CP.

I wish he would explain his numbers, but I guess if he is a hedge fund manager with 11K followers, maybe his numbers are legit. Maybe not though. You never know. According to his profile, he is #1 on Portfolio Strategy and Asset Allocation. I have no idea what in the world that is in relation to though... Is he #1 on Seeking Alpha? Hmmm...

There was definitely a bunch of buying that kicked in right around the time he released his article.

Thats business for you. I am a shareholder and see bigger and better things for NSC in the future.

I am not stockholder here, but our company is a vendor with NSC.

In the past several months we have seen ongoing A/R problems getting paid from them for business we have done for them, and many times their corp sends partial payments only after we already wait 30-45 days, and never the full invoive amount and this is disturbing to see. It is not right when us smaller businesses have to carry materials so long waiting on NSC to pay on time and pay high % rates until we get funds to pay those off.

Is this a sign of things to come with NSC? I do not know. But to have a vendor account and agreement in place, and see this large corp not pay its bills to us vendors as agreed to is very upsetting.
