WiFi Wireless Inc. Network and Telecommunication Forerunner (OTC:
WFWL) Board of Advisors Has Voted Unanimously to Approve Ericsson,
Inc. Broadband and Media Accounts Division as the Vendor to Install
and Manage the WiFi My City Network Infrastructure Program
LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - Mar 31, 2014) - WiFi Wireless
Inc. Network and Telecommunication forerunner (PINKSHEETS: WFWL)
Board of Advisors has voted unanimously to approve Ericsson, Inc.
Broadband and Media Accounts Division as the vendor to install and
manage the WiFi My
City network infrastructure program.
A company Spokesperson of WiFi Wireless Inc. announced today
that after months of negotiations with several Tier 1 wireless
equipment vendors we have chosen Ericsson, Inc. to participate in
the proof of concept city, which will be headed up by
WFWL's CTO Ted Abrams.
Ericsson, Inc. founded in 1876, with current assets
over $275 Billion is considered one the premier leaders
in Mobile, Fixed Broadband and Wireless Networks,
Consultancy, Managed Network Services and
Multimedia technology. Furthermore Ericsson has
approximately 33,000 granted patents and is considered one of the
largest patent asset holders in this industry.
Additionally in the same time period we have obtained the
necessary permit forms from So Cal Edison for antenna pole
placement in places where needed.
After six months of acquiring the resources for this project the
WiFi team of experts are now evaluating which cities will be best
suited to launch this Sea Change model.
It has become more apparent that WiFi Wireless's vision was on
target and the communication analysts have caught on to the fact
that cities have to be part of their own wireless communication
infrastructure.
Susan Crawford, broadband policy expert and co-director of the
Berkman Center at Harvard University, explores this issue in her
new book Captive Audience, called by the New York
Times "a calm but chilling state-of-play on the information
age in the United States." She suggests that we should think of
high speed internet access in the same way that we think of other
public utilities like electricity and running water -- and that
local government at the city and state level needs to take action
to optimize information infrastructure for the public good.
It is imperative that municipalities take advantage of the WiFi
Wireless, Inc. (OTC: WFWL) WiFi My City program while they
still have a choice.
