appScatter Partners with Mobile Marketing Solutions Provider
ironSource
appScatter Group plc (AIM: APPS), the scalable
business-to-business ('B2B') Software as a Service ('SaaS')
platform that allows users to distribute and manage their apps on
multiple app stores around the world, is pleased to announce that
it has agreed a collaborative partnership with ironSource Ltd
("ironSource"), the leading mobile monetization and marketing
platform to introduce the appScatter platform to ironSource's
significant app developer customer base.
Listed by the Wall Street Journal in its 'Billion Dollar Startup
Club' and named by the World Economic Forum as a 'Global Growth
Company', ironSource is one of Business Insider's 'hottest pre-IPO
tech companies', and one of Israel's most innovative companies,
according to Fast Company. ironSource builds technologies which
help app developers take their app businesses to the next level,
including one of the industry's largest in-app video ad networks.
Over 80,000 apps use ironSource's technology to monetize and
ironSource is working with leading game developers such as
Kongregate, Playrix, Zynga, Zeptolabs and Big Fish Games. With its
large SDK footprint, ironSource is able to reach 1.5 billion unique
active users every month.
appScatter and ironSource have agreed to implement a
co-marketing initiative to introduce the appScatter platform to
ironSource's large global developer community.
Developers that use appScatter's platform increase audience
reach for their apps by publishing to multiple app stores, which
has the ability to increase downloads, app download revenues and
therefore net advertising revenues. In the hyper-competitive world
of mobile apps, publishing to more app stores is an increasingly
popular growth strategy, especially in emerging markets where Apple
and Google's app stores hold low market shares.
appScatter will offer ironSource users a 20% discount for the
first 12 months of use of the appScatter platform and appScatter
will also pay ironSource a commission of 10% of net revenues
received from new users introduced during the term of
collaboration. Should either appScatter or ironSource wish to cease
collaboration in due course, they have each agreed to provide the
other with six months' written notice.
Philip Marcella, CEO of appScatter, commented:
"We're thrilled to be partnering with ironSource and beginning
an arrangement that will be commercially advantageous for all
concerned. This strategic collaboration is further proof of our
commitment to strengthening ties to the app development community
and supporting the app economy's continued growth."
Yevgeny Peres, VP Growth Developer Solutions at ironSource,
commented:
"Our goal has always been to help app developers scale their app
businesses, so it makes perfect sense to partner with a company
like appScatter, which empowers app developers to quickly and
easily penetrate new markets, connect to new users and increase
revenues. We're excited to be able to offer this added value to our
large developer customer base."
