            Eurocity Properties PLC ("Eurocity" or "the Company")


The Board of Eurocity is pleased to announce the acquisition of two
properties, details of which are set out below.


74 Kilmarnock Road, Shawlands, Glasgow is a feuhold property let on a full
repairing and insuring lease subject to five yearly upward only rent reviews
to Larson and Ross (Restaurants) Limited, who trade as Burger King. The lease
was granted on 7 December 1993 for a period of 25 years. The current rent is #
53,500 per annum and the next rent review is due on 29 September 2003.


The purchase price is #630,000, payable as to #530,000 in cash and as to #
100,000 by the issue of 200,000 new Ordinary Shares at 50p per share. The cash
element of the consideration has been funded by the Nationwide Building
Society.


30/30A Great Darkgate Street, Aberystwyth is a freehold property let on a full
repairing and insuring lease subject to five yearly upward only rent reviews
to Thorn High Street Properties Limited, an electrical retailer. The lease was
granted on 27 July 1993 for a period of 20 years from 24 June 1993. The
current rent is #57,500 per annum. The rent review due on 24 June 2001 has yet
to be agreed.


The purchase price is #750,000, payable as to #550,000 in cash and as to #
200,000 by the issue of 400,000 new Ordinary Shares at 50p per share. The cash
element of the consideration has been funded by the Nationwide Building
Society.
