Result of Audit Tender

The Board of Glencore announces its intention to reappoint Deloitte as its external auditor for the financial year beginning 1 January 2022, subject to shareholder approval at its 2022 AGM.

This follows an extensive competitive tender process that was overseen by the Company's Audit Committee. The selection to re-appoint Deloitte was unanimously recommended by the Committee, and has been approved by the Glencore Board.

Kalidas Madhavpeddi, Chair of the Audit Committee, commented: "The primary reason for the Committee in making this recommendation was that Deloitte offered a more compelling case for the provision of a higher-quality audit. For this and other reasons we determined that Deloitte should be retained as our external auditor. "
