Yen Rises Against Majors

The Japanese yen strengthened against the other major currencies
in the Asian session on Monday.
The yen rose to a 2-week high of 110.77 against the Swiss franc,
from Friday's closing value of 111.19.
Against the pound and the U.S. dollar, the yen advanced to 5-day
highs of 159.03 and 109.64 from last week's closing quotes of
159.65 and 110.09, respectively.
Against the euro and the NZ dollar, the yen edged up to 123.14
and 74.23 from Friday's closing quotes of 123.55 and 74.45,
respectively.
Against the Australian and the Canadian dollars, the yen climbed
to 4-day highs of 79.29 and 83.64 from last week's closing quotes
of 79.52 and 83.96, respectively.
If the yen extends its uptrend, it is likely to find resistance
around 109.00 against the franc, 156.00 against the pound, 107.00
against the greenback, 121.00 against the euro, 73.00 against the
kiwi, 77.00 against the aussie and 82.00 against the loonie.
