SanDisk Corporation to Join the Nasdaq-100 Index Beginning November 13, 2003 NEW YORK, Nov. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SanDisk Corporation of Sunnyvale, California, will become a component of the NASDAQ-100 Index(R) , effective at the beginning of trading Thursday, November 13, 2003. SanDisk will also be included in the NASDAQ-100 Index Tracking Stock(SM) . SanDisk Corporation will replace Biogen, Inc. , which is scheduled to be acquired by Idec Pharmaceuticals Corporation . Idec will then change its name and symbol to Biogen Idec Inc. and BIIB, respectively.
