Lynch Promoted to Vice President at Conseco

CARMEL, Ind., July 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Conseco, Inc.
(NYSE:CNO) announced that Jerome J. Lynch has been promoted to vice
president, Bankers Life and Casualty valuation. Lynch, 52, joined
Conseco in 2004 and served previously as senior managing actuary of
health valuation at Bankers, Conseco's largest insurance
subsidiary. He reports to Mark Billingsley, senior vice president
of valuation and projections for all Conseco insurance product
lines. "Jerry has provided valuable leadership in the valuation and
projection processes for Bankers' health insurance products,"
Billingsley said. "In his expanded role, we are confident that he
will bring the same leadership to the valuation processes for the
full range of Bankers' products." Before Conseco, Lynch served in
several actuarial management positions during 22 years with CNA
Insurance. He holds a B.S. degree in mathematics from Jacksonville
University and a M.S. degree in mathematics from Colorado State
University. He is a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
