Volkswagen Expands Car-Sharing Portfolio With Miles Mobility Tie-Up

Volkswagen AG said Tuesday that it had entered a partnership
with Berlin-based car-sharing company Miles Mobility to expand its
offering.
As part of the deal, Miles Mobility acquired Volkswagen
Passenger Cars' UMI Urban Mobility International GmbH, which
includes its WeShare car-sharing business, the German car maker
said.
The parties agreed not to disclose the purchase price,
Volkswagen said.
Volkswagen also said it will deliver 10,000 all-electric
vehicles to Miles Mobility from 2023, with car-sharing services
available in eight German cities, including Berlin, Hamburg and
Munich.
