Global Hunter Announces Appointment of Former Placer Dome Project Manager and Senior Metallurgist to Team

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA ("Global Hunter" or the "Company")
is pleased to announce that it has appointed Mr. Randolph Scheffel
as Senior Metallurgist and Mr. David Prins as Project Manager to
work on further developing Las Posadas project, located in the
highly prospective Atacama Fault Zone (Chilean Iron-Copper Belt) in
Chile.
Mr. Scheffel will act as the Senior Metallurgist for Global
Hunter and will in particular oversee the current metallurgy work
that is underway at Las Posadas project in Chile. He comes to
Global Hunter with a proven track record of over 30 years of
experience in engineering, design, and construction of precious and
base metal operations and the successful development of several
mines for companies in the past. He holds Masters of Science in
Hydrometallurgy and a Bachelors of Science in Metallurgical
Engineering.
Mr. Prins will act as Project Manager for Las Posadas project
brings over twenty years of experience to Global Hunter, of which
over ten years being spent working with Placer Dome Latin America
in positions ranging from Project Coordinator or Project Engineer.
He has been responsible for preparation of capital estimates,
construction planning, developing project schedules, community
relations, operational/construction issues, and EIA presentations.
Mr. Prins has vast experience working in Chile, including Placer
Dome's Cerro Casales Gold/Copper Project.
