of its first Canadian centre for research and development at the University of
British Columbia (UBC). The centre will act as Sunshine Agri-Tech's window into
the North American agricultural market, which President Baojun Zhang says is
"crucial for SAI's development." Zhang states that Sunshine Agri-Tech is "very
pleased to locate our newest office at such a world-renowned institution" and
that the "excellent facilities will greatly enhance Sunshine Agri-Tech's
research and growth."


The research centre, located in the Donald Rix Building, will employ highly
qualified UBC researchers and postgraduates, which presents SAI with a strong
research network. Through its UBC researchers, Sunshine Agri-Tech will have the
opportunity to align with world-renowned UBC Faculties, such as the Faculty of
Land and Food Systems.
