Dr. Clever is the former President and owner of JEDB Associates, LLC, where he built significant government and defense contacts in the alternative energy industry.

Before joining forces with Alkane, Dr. Clever's JEDB Associates supported alternative, renewable energy technologies to maximize the value of sustainability -- making environmental excellence, energy innovation, and social responsibility drivers for increased reliance and energy independence.

Dr. Clever received his Ph.D. from Catholic University of America in 1991 and has worked as an advocate for renewable, sustainable energy throughout his career. He served as Adjunct Professor for the school and in various research capacities in both the academic and professional realm. In addition, Dr. Clever's private sector career included executive responsibilities for a physician driven provider network and three medical mall facilities in the Washington, D.C. area.
