Rio Tinto plc and Rio Tinto Limited general meetings

The address given by the Chair at the contemporaneous general meetings of Rio Tinto plc and Rio Tinto Limited being held today at 9.00am (BST) at The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, Broad Sanctuary, Westminster, London SW1P 3EE, and at 4.00pm (AWST) at the River View Rooms, Level 2, the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, 21 Mounts Bay Road, Perth, Western Australia respectively, is available at www.riotinto.com/gm2022.

The contemporaneous general meetings are convened to approve Rio Tinto's entry into a joint venture with China Baowu Steel Group Co., Ltd for the development of the Western Range mine in the Pilbara, and the associated iron ore offtake agreement.
