Appointment of non-executive director
The Board of British Smaller
Companies VCT2 plc (the "Company") is pleased to announce the
appointment of Arif Ahmed as an independent non-executive director
with effect from the Board meeting immediately following the
Company's AGM on 13 June 2024.
Arif is a serial entrepreneur and
private equity investor in technology, e-commerce, B2B media and
healthcare companies. Early in his career he co-founded, grew and
exited a software company that scaled a proof-of-concept pilot into
a multi-year government contract covering over 1m NHS staff.
He now advises family offices and private equity firms on
their healthcare and technology investments. Arif's expertise
in healthcare and technology will be a valuable addition to the
Board.
There are no details in respect of Mr
Ahmed requiring disclosure under paragraphs 9.6.13R (1) to (6) of
the Listing Rules.
