Seeing Machines Signs First CAT(R) Dealer Agreement
Caterpillar-Seeing Machines Alliance Agreement - Dealers on
board
Seeing Machines, (AIM: SEE), is pleased to announce that Wagner
Equipment Co. has become the first Caterpillar distributor for its
Driver Safety System (DSS). The DSS technology and services are to
be sold to customers in the mining industry exclusively through
CAT(R)dealers.
Seeing Machines' agreement with Wagner ensures that Wagner's
mining customers will now have access to the experienced DSS sales
and high standards of technical support they've come to expect from
Wagner in Colorado, New Mexico and Texas.
There are over 20 CAT(R) dealers in the process of becoming
Seeing Machines distributors and further updates will be announced
as the distribution agreements are executed.
"Wagner Equipment Co. is excited to add Seeing Machines to our
mining technology portfolio. We believe that the Driver Safety
System (DSS) is industry leading technology that enables our
customers to effectively address the risk associated with operator
fatigue in their haul truck fleets. Wagner has four sites and 30
machines already equipped with Seeing Machines technology and we
expect to rapidly grow our installed base. We want to quickly
expose all our customers to the DSS because as we have seen with
other mining technology solutions it is much easier to install the
first system than to displace existing systems." Brian Rothe,
Wagner Equipment Co.'s Technology Solutions Manager.
"We are very happy to announce the signing of our first
Caterpillar dealer" said Ken Kroeger, CEO of Seeing Machines.
"Supported by corporate Caterpillar representatives, we have been
well received by the dealer network, and we look forward to working
hand-in-hand with CAT(R) dealers to quickly establish all of the
required DSS sales and technical capabilities. The alliance with
Caterpillar continues to be our business model for sector
engagement and we expect to continue to establish similar exclusive
relationships in each of the key industry sectors where our head,
face and eye tracking technology have application."
