Bally Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: BYI), a leader in slots, video
machines, casino-management, interactive applications, and
networked and server-based systems for the global gaming industry,
today announced the deployment of new systems technologies at
Marina del Sol Casino in Concepción, Chile, that replace 100
percent of a competitor’s systems technology.
The comprehensive solution that Bally Technologies is providing
comprises an array of technology-leading and award-winning Bally
Technologies systems products.
Marina del Sol selected cutting-edge technology, which includes
the latest release of the SDS™/CMP™ 12 for Windows®
slot-accounting and player-tracking system; the
CoolSign® resort-wide media-management system; and the proven
bonusing system Bally Power Bonusing™, a suite of predefined bonus
events, sweepstakes, and promotions.
“We were convinced that Bally Technologies would be truly
concerned about our project and ready to work hard with the best
technology solutions,” said Marina del Sol President Nicolas
Imschenetzky Ebensperger. “Our decision was motivated by clear and
strategic principles. We want to know our guests in the best way
possible; get accurate, fast, and timely information; increase
interaction with guests; and offer innovative promotions and more
opportunities to win. Above all, we want to motivate guests to
visit us during times when the occupancy rate is low. Bally's SDS
platform is oriented to meet those goals.”
Bally’s system solutions are live, connected on 1,273 gaming
machines and 50 tables.
“We are honored Marina del Sol chose our trailblazing systems
solutions,” said Bally Technologies Senior Vice President of
Products and Operations Derik Mooberry. “Our systems and enhanced
technology products will help Marina del Sol reduce costs, protect
invested capital, and deliver more powerful player experiences
floor-wide across the casino.”
