(Savoy Foundation) will host its 27th annual Royal Savoy Ball - Ballo di Savoia on Saturday, December 7, 2024 in New York City under the patronage of H.R.H. Prince Emmanuel Philibert of Savoy, Duke of Savoy, Prince of Piedmont and Prince of Venice. H.R.H. Prince Dimitri of Yugoslavia is the Ball Chairman. The winter charity gala will raise funds for the Foundation's mission – Chivalry for Children's Causes™ – and will benefit Casita Maria Center for Arts and Education.

NEW YORK, Aug. 10, 2024 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The American Foundation of Savoy Orders, Inc. (Savoy Foundation) announces its 27th annual Royal Savoy Ball - Ballo di Savoia - on Saturday, December 7, 2024 in New York City, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Emmanuel Philibert of Savoy, Duke of Savoy, Prince of Piedmont and Prince of Venice. H.R.H. Prince Dimitri of Yugoslavia, who serves as the U.S. Delegate of the American Delegation of Savoy Orders and a Savoy Foundation board member, is the Ball Chairman of the event. The white tie, winter charity gala is supported by prominent business and community leaders and members and friends of the Dynastic Orders of the Royal House of Savoy. More than 300 guests are expected to attend the charity fundraiser at The University Club in New York City, which last year raised more than $100,000.

The event organizers are asking guests to help raise money for this year's designated charity - Casita Maria Center for Arts and Education, which was founded in 1934 to enrich and elevate the lives of South Bronx youth, families and community residents through expressive arts and culture, academic enrichment and therapeutic recreation.

In a statement concerning the 2024 Ballo di Savoia to be held on the weekend of December 6-8, H.R.H. Prince Dimitri of Yugoslavia, 2024 Ball Chairman and Savoy Foundation board member commented: "The Royal Savoy Ball is an evening full of inspiration, celebration, and philanthropy in support of the Savoy Foundation's mission - Chivalry For Children's Causes- and a welcome event for new knights and dames entering the Savoy Orders through the American Delegation of Savoy Orders. The Royal Savoy Ball is organized by the American Foundation of Savoy Orders, which is supported by 200 knights and dames in the United States who are members of the American Delegation of Savoy Orders. The American Delegation is part of the historic dynastic and chivalric Orders of the thousand-year Royal House of Savoy, which united Italy as a kingdom between 1860 and 1871.

Prior to Saturday's evening Gala, a reception on Friday evening, December 6 at the Lotos Club will be held for guests attending the Royal Savoy Ball.
