At the Annual General Meeting of Datamonitor plc, held at 2pm today, Bernard
Cragg, non executive Chairman, made the following statement:


"We have made a good start to the year. On a like for like basis sales are
similar to last year with costs significantly reduced. We continue to generate
cash."
