The Denmark currency that closed Monday's deals at 5.0372 against the US dollar declined more than 1 percent to 5.0883 by 7:00 am ET Tuesday. This set the lowest mark for the Danish krone since October 5. Currently, the dollar-krone pair is quoted at 5.0785.

The Danish krone is pegged to the euro since January 1, 1999. Prior to the introduction of the euro, the Danish Krone was pegged to the German Mark. The reference rate for the euro-krone pair is at 7.4603.
