today announced a new solution to help catalog marketers improve
their contact stream to send the right catalog at the right
frequency to the right customer. The new solution, called Acxiom's
Contact Optimization Solution, combines Acxiom's data expertise and
Acxiom Personicx(R) segmentation system with DII's analytic
capabilities to develop the optimal promotional contact strategy
for each customer. Using a customer-centric approach, this solution
assigns each customer the contact stream that generates the maximum
return on the advertising investment by setting the appropriate
investment budget and choosing the best offers. "Our new Contact
Optimization Solution is a real breakthrough for catalog marketers
