On June 30, 2010, Tower Bancorp, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a joint press release with First Chester County Corporation (“First Chester”), announcing that the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia has approved Tower’s proposed acquisition of First Chester. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
