First Tennessee ranks among Top 10 Most Reputable U.S. Banks
June 29 2017 - 5:28PM
A new report from American Banker, the premier newspaper focused on
the banking industry, ranks the U.S. banks with the best
reputations, and First Tennessee comes in at No. 5.
First Tennessee ranks second on the list of most reputable banks
among customers and sixth among non-customers. First
Tennessee also ranks in the top five overall in every dimension of
reputation – citizenship, ethics/integrity, innovation, leadership,
performance, products and services, and workplace.
“We are extremely proud and honored to be recognized by
customers and non-customers alike for the many facets that shape an
organization’s reputation,” said Bryan Jordan, chairman and CEO of
First Tennessee’s parent company, First Horizon National Corp.
(NYSE:FHN). “Our employees are committed to providing
differentiated service to every customer at every
opportunity. This survey by American Banker illustrates how
dedicated our employees are to developing and maintaining those
relationships.”
The eighth annual Bank Reputation Survey was conducted by the
Reputation Institute and included Federal Reserve banks based on
asset size and deposits plus key regional and non-traditional banks
– all with significant retail businesses and/or significant retail
brands. More than 12,000 individual ratings were collected
from customers or non-customers familiar with the companies they
rated. Results of the survey are available at
americanbanker.com and will be published in the July issue of
American Banker magazine.
