Nuevatel SHOUTS 'Viva VoIP!' Nuevatel is also delivering prepaid phone card services to its customers using the IVR capabilities in SHOUT. In the near future, Nuevatel will also release enhanced voice services using SHOUT, including unified messaging, CENTREX, and web phone. Nuevatel will use the integrated voice gateway and signaling support of the SHOUT platform to interconnect SS7/C7 signaling with leased T1/E1 circuits to connect all of its locations throughout Bolivia. SHOUT combines the functionality of a media gateway, call control component, SS7/C7 signaling point, H.323/SIP inter-working device and media server in a single, compact chassis.
