TSX-V: CUG and CUG.DB
MONTREAL, May 6, 2016 /CNW/ - Cyprium Mining Corporation
(TSXV: CUG) ("Cyprium" or the "Company")
wishes to inform its shareholders that it intends to file its
audited financial statements and Management Discussion and Analysis
for the fiscal year ended December
31st, 2015 on or around May 15th, 2016 which is past the
statutory deadline of April
29th.
Mr. Alain Lambert, Chairman and
CEO of Cyprium stated: "While we have accomplished much from an
operational standpoint over the last year, we are disappointed that
there was a delay in the completion and filing of our 2015 audited
statements. We do not have any audit issues and the operations in
Mexico continue according to
plans. The delay is in part due to the complexity of certain
aspects of the Potosi joint
venture. The trading in the shares of the Company will be halted
until the financials are filed."

being processed by the Company is assayed, there is no certainty
that the proposed operations will be economically or technically
viable. Investors should also note that the Potosi silver mine and La Chinche property
have no established mineral resources or mineral reserves as
defined by NI 43-101. Although Cyprium Mining has made a production
decision regarding the Potosi
silver mine based on historical production records, historical
results of sampling and drilling, a feasibility study of its
projects has not been completed and there is no certainty that the
proposed operations will be economically or technically viable.
