Item 8.01 Other Events

 

On May 15, 2023, Applied Energetics, Inc. executed a contract with a U.S. Department of Defense customer at an aggregate value of $1,148,000 over two years, with the first year currently funded. The company intends to provide additional information upon approval from the government agency.
