IHTI Integrative Health Technologies Inc (CE)

Integrative Health Technologies, Inc. (�IHTI�) (Pink Sheets: IHTI) is pleased to announce that it has been advised by SEC staff that they are recommending that no enforcement action be taken against IHTI for alleged violations of the Investment Company Act (the �Act�) when it elected to report as a business development company (�BDC�) on Feb. 11, 2005. The discussions with the SEC have been disclosed in the Company�s filings since IHTI acquired Senticore in June 2006. As part of a Reverse Merger Agreement in 2006, the Company became known as IHTI and the current management team was installed. Shortly after the 2006 transaction, IHTI began working with the SEC to identify and resolve alleged violations of the Act. IHTI has taken many steps to rectify the issues, including withdrawing its BDC election on May 7, 2007, and the SEC has acknowledged IHTI�s cooperation. IHTI is also re-stating its past financial information as an operating company, instead of a BDC. It will also re-state its previously reported June 2006 �merger� with Senticore, Inc. as an �acquisition,� not a merger, applying the appropriate accounting methods for an acquisition instead of a merger. This re-statement will include annual reports for 2006 and 2007 and quarterly reports for the first two quarters of 2008. Although we have found the SEC very supportive and helpful, the absence of a resolution of these issues has been a major distraction to IHTI�s normal business operation and a significant drain on IHTI�s resources. Once the re-filing is complete, IHTI can devote its full resources to its business operation of: (1) research and development of health-enhancing biotechnology, (2) conduct of independent clinical trials, and (3) consulting and networking for the marketing of health-enhancing products and technologies.
