Siemens AG said Tuesday that it plans to propose Grazia
Vittadini and Kasper Rorsted as new members of the supervisory
board for a four-year term.
The German engineering conglomerate said the proposal would be
made at the annual shareholders' meeting on Feb. 3.
Ms. Vittadini currently serves as chief technology officer and
member of the executive committee at Airbus SE, while Mr. Rorsted
is chief executive officer of Adidas AG.
The two candidates would substitute Nicola Leibinger-Kammueller
and Werner Wenning, whose terms will expire in February.
Siemens also said it would propose the re-election of Jim
Hagemann Snabe as chair of the company's supervisory board for four
more years as his term also expires in February.
