                         Purchase of Canaccord shares 
 
VANCOUVER, June 8, 2009 - Canaccord Capital Inc. (TSX & AIM: CCI) was notified 
on Friday, June 5, 2009 that Paul Reynolds, President & CEO of Canaccord 
Capital Inc. and a director of the company, bought on June 5, 2009, through the 
facilities of the Toronto Stock Exchange, 3,000 common shares in the company at 
an average price of C$7.80 per share. As a result, Mr. Reynolds (directly and 
through the Reynolds Family Trust, of which Mr. Reynolds is one of the 
beneficiaries) now holds 1,505,703 common shares in the company, representing 
2.73% of the common shares issued and outstanding.
