Investment Update Announcement 
 
 
 
 
Ventus 3 VCT plc (the 'Company') presented its second interim management 
statement for the financial year ended 28 February 2009 on 16 January 2009, as 
required by the UK Listing Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rule 4.3. 
 
 
This investment update summarises the status of investments since the 
publication of the second interim management statement. 
 
 
 
 
As at the date of this statement, the Company has invested or committed to 
invest GBP8.2 million in a total of 21 companies. GBP7.5 million of the 
investments made have been structured so as to be classified as qualifying 
holdings for the purposes of the VCT regulations of HM Revenue & Customs. 
 
 
The Company is in compliance with the requirement to hold no less than 70% by 
value of its total investments in qualifying holdings by the end of its third 
financial year. 
Further details of all investments will be provided in the Investment Manager's 
Report in the Company's Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended 28 
February 2009 which is expected to be published in May.
