/CNW/ - The Honourable Soraya Martinez Ferrada, Minister of Tourism
and Minister responsible for the Economic Development Agency of
Canada for the Regions of
Quebec, on behalf of the
Honourable François-Philippe
Champagne, Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, and
the Honourable Mark Holland, Minister of Health, will unveil the
results of Stage 2 of the integrated Canada Biomedical Research
Fund and Biosciences Research Infrastructure Fund competition
aiming at keeping Canadians safe ahead of future health
emergencies.
Minister Martinez Ferrada will be
joined by Valérie Laflamme, Associate Vice-President, Tri-agency
Institutional Programs Secretariat and the Social Sciences and
Humanities Research Council, and Roseann
O'Reilly Runte, President and CEO, the Canada Foundation for
Innovation.
The announcement will start with a tour of the Gregory de
Crescenzo Laboratory and end with an armchair discussion with four
recipients on the ambitious research projects aimed at
revolutionizing Canada's domestic
biomanufacturing and life sciences.

with the researchers.
