PRIMARK, the high street discount fashion chain, is selling some
of its clothes online for the first time after teaming up with
online retailer ASOS PLC (ASC.LN). Primark, which is owned by
ASSOCIATED BRITISH FOODS PLC (ABF.LN), Monday started offering an
initial range of 20 womanswear items through Asos, with price tags
ranging from a 6 pounds ($3.1) t-shirt to a GBP22 parka jacket. A
spokesperson for the company described the trial as "very limited",
and said it would give "some insight into online retailing".
At 1035 Asos shares +28.0 pence, or 0.7%, at 3,991.0 pence.
Associated British Foods shares +21.0 pence, or 1.1%, at 1,858.0
pence.
FALANX GROUP LTD., a specialist security firm aiding governments
and corporations to combat terrorist threats, plans to list on the
Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange within
weeks, its chief executive said.
Focused on the Middle East, North Africa and Asia regions, the
company plans to raise GBP1 million in its initial public offering
and anticipates a market capitalization of about GBP4 million.
CONROY GOLD & NATURAL RESOURCES PLC (CGNR.LN), an
Ireland-focused gold miner, Tuesday said that a mineralogical
report on the gold samples at its Clontibret project has been
positive.
Shares +0.3 pence, or 15.8%, at 2.2 pence.
NYOTA MINERALS LTD. (NYO.AU), an East Africa-focused gold miner,
said that over the last three months it has worked on optimizing
the returns offered by its planned Tulu Kapi Gold Project in
Western Ethiopia and believes it is now in a stronger position to
improve early cash flow, investment returns and the net present
value of the project.
Shares in London -0.07 pence, or 5.7%, at 1.2 pence.
ARMOUR GROUP PLC (AMR.LN), the consumer electronics group, said
Armour Automotive, its wholly owned subsidiary, has received a
contract to supply Argo Tractors with the in-cab radio/audio system
for their McCormick and Landini tractor ranges.
Shares +0.5 pence, or 9.1%, at 6.0 pence.
NIGHTHAWK ENERGY PLC (HAWK.LN), a U.S.-focused oil company, said
that data logging and coring of its Taos 1-10 well, on its Hill
project in the Denver-Julesburg Basin, Colorado, has confirmed the
presence of an oil column and so testing and completion of the well
is underway.
Shares +0.3 pence, or 5.8%, at 5.8 pence.
SOFTWARE RADIO TECHNOLOGY PLC (SRT.LN), the maritime
identification and tracking technologies and products provider,
said it expects the new financial year to be weighted toward the
second half as it reported a rise in profit for the year ended
March.
Shares -2.5 pence, or 8.3%, at 27.5 pence.
ENEGI OIL PLC (ENEG.LN), an oil company with a diversified
portfolio of assets, said its PaP No.1-ST-No.3 well in the Garden
Hill Field in western Newfoundland has flowed for total of 214
hours, producing 1,731 barrels of oil, up to May 17.
Shares +0.5 pence, or 5.6%, at 9.4 pence.
VP PLC (VP.LN), the equipment rental specialist, reported a rise
in full-year profit and said it remains positive in its
expectations for the new financial year.
Shares +19.0 pence, or 5.6%, at 9.4 pence.
HERENCIA RESOURCES PLC (HER.LN), a Chile-focused zinc and silver
miner, said it expects to start mine construction at its flagship
Paguanta project in the second half of 2014 with production
starting in the 2015.
Shares -0.02 pence, or 2.9%, at 0.7 pence.
SEFTON RESOURCES INC. (SER.LN), an oil company with interests in
California and Kansas, said that Kansas oil production increased to
about 450 barrels a month in May, from about 400 barrels in both
March and April.
Shares -0.02 pence, or 5.4%, at 0.4 pence.
