Business Wire
Software AG today acted on its comprehensive cloud strategy
with the announcement of its newest solution – Software AG Cloud
Ready, which includes modeling, process management,
Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and cloud integration
offerings. Software AG Cloud Ready—with general availability in Q3
of 2011—is designed to bring business and technical stakeholders
together to collaborate on process transformation quickly, and at a
lower cost.
Software AG Cloud Ready includes process design and strategy,
process management, integration and governance in the cloud. Users
of webMethods BPMS, SOA and integration have the option to run
their development, test, and production environments in the cloud,
reducing the time to market and allowing for dynamic provisioning.
ARIS users benefit from broad collaboration during the design,
simulation, publishing and monitoring phases of process
transformation projects. And when combined, webMethods and ARIS
bring IT and business together for faster strategic advancement
across the enterprise.
“As more organizations embrace SaaS and cloud-based solutions,
the need to integrate cloud applications and data with on-premise
applications grows,” said Dr. Wolfram Jost, Chief Technology
Officer and member of the Executive Board, Software AG. “Software
AG supports this ‘leave and leverage’ approach by offering both
integration and governance capabilities between any application
residing on any platform. In addition, our ARIS and webMethods
customers will have the option to deploy our unified platform in
the cloud, on-premises or with a hybrid of these scenarios.”
Software AG Cloud Ready also allows organizations to collaborate
over the full process improvement lifecycle, from process strategy
and design to implementation and execution, through monitoring and
refinement for continuous improvement. It also provides governance
across the entire lifecycle, ensuring that process and system
changes are safely planned with full impact analysis and change
management assessments. Software AG Cloud Ready enables extreme
collaboration, reduces project time and lowers the total cost of
innovation.
“Software AG Cloud Ready is the first phase in our cloud
strategy, and it’s a significant step,” said Susan Ganeshan, Senior
Vice President of Product Marketing & Management, Software AG.
“This offering enables process owners, business leaders, enterprise
workers and partners to work together on any digital device to
drive innovation faster. That’s what we call extreme
collaboration.”
Software AG Cloud Ready helps customers take advantage of cloud
computing in three ways:
- Use of new platforms, including Amazon
EC2 and VMware for both ARIS and webMethods products
- Allows customers to run a combination
of cloud and on-premise integration and process solutions with
support for hybrid deployments
- Delivers integration and governance
between on-premise applications and other Software as a Service
(SaaS) offerings, such as Salesforce, Workday and Google
To ensure our customers’ success with their cloud initiatives,
Software AG offers a combination of software, service and industry
expertise via our consulting services team. These Cloud Ready
services include advanced preparation, strategy formulation, and
process digitization and analysis for cloud requirements spanning
the enterprise, ensuring a smooth transition to cloud-based
solutions.
