STOCKHOLM--Husqvarna AB (HUSQ-B.SK) said Thursday that chairman Lars Westerberg has declined re-election, with the nomination committee proposing Tom Johnstone as his replacement.

The Swedish garden equipment maker said Mr. Johnstone has served on the board of Husqvarna since 2006 and is currently chief executive of SKF AB (SKF-B.SK), until he steps down on December 31, 2014. He is also a board member at Investor AB (INVE-B.SK).
