Skipton Building Society today announces the appointment of Tom Wood as Group 
Finance Director with effect from 7 September 2009 (subject to FSA approval). 
 
 
This follows the move of Richard Twigg (formerly Group Finance Director) to 
become Managing Director, with responsibility for the Group's Mortgages & 
Savings Division. 
 
 
Tom Wood has spent the majority of his career at Barclays; was Group Finance 
Director at Derbyshire Building Society from December 2007 to January 2009; and 
is currently working on an interim basis at Northern Rock.
