The purpose of this replacement announcement is to notify investors of the inclusion of Page 74A in the Directors' Remuneration Report in the 2016 Annual Report, the text of which was excluded from the report in error. Meggitt today published its Annual Report for the year ended 31 December 2016 and Notice of the Annual General Meeting being held on 27 April 2017. Both documents can be downloaded at www.meggitt.com/investors . Copies of the Annual Report for 2016 and Notice of 2017 Annual General Meeting are being dispatched to shareholders and will be available shortly from the National Storage Mechanism at www.hemscott.com/nsm.do.

Meggitt's full-year results for the year ended 31 December 2016 were published on 28 February 2017, and are available at www.meggitt.com/investors . The full-year results announcement made on 28 February 2017 contains the information required to comply with Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rule 6.3.5, including principal risk factors, details of related party transactions and the directors' responsibility statement.
