Mediasurface plc received notification today from 3i Group plc that, in
accordance with sections 198-202 of the Companies Act 1985 (as amended) and
Disclosure of Interests in Shares (Amendment) Regulations 1993, it and certain
of its subsidiary companies have a notifiable interest in 16,618,358 ordinary
shares of 1p each in the Company representing 21.51 per cent. of the issued
share capital. The shares are registered in the name of BNY (OCS) Nominees
Limited.
