                                  Board change


The Board of Pochin's Plc announces that, as foreshadowed in the final results
for the year ending 31 May 2006, Mr. John H Woodcock has retired as Chairman of
the Company with effect from the 31 December 2006.

The Company is pleased to announce that Mr. Richard Fildes, who was appointed a
non-executive director of the Company on the 7 August 2006, has accepted the
position as Chairman of the Company with immediate effect.
