BOARD DIRECTORS

Following the announcement by the Company on 29 May 2003 of the appointments of
I�igo Meir�s, Jos� Mar�a P�rez Tremps, Nicol�s Vill�n, Santiago Olivares and
Jos� Leo to the Board, Amey plc can confirm that there are no details requiring
disclosure in respect of paragraph 16.4 of the Listing Rules for any of these
directors.

In addition, Mr P�rez Tremps is a director of Grupo Ferrovial, S.A. and
Europistas, S.A.  Mr Vill�n is a director of Budimex S.A, previous to which he
was a director of Europistas S.A., Estacionamientos Subterraneos S.A. and
Ferrovial Agroman S.A.
