FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.,
July 24, 2017 /PRNewswire/ --
Debbie's Dream Foundation: Curing Stomach Cancer (DDF) is excited
to announce its Second Annual South Florida Dream Fore a Cure
Golf Tournament taking place on Nov. 9,
2017 at the Fort Lauderdale Country Club. Registration opens
at noon and the tournament starts at 1
p.m.
The golf tournament is part of DDF's campaign to raise funds for
stomach cancer research, and to support patients and their
families. Per cancer death, gastric cancer receives the least
amount of federal funding of any cancer.
The tournament is led by Chair Jonathan
Perrillo and committee members: AJ Bose, Michael Brin, Michael
Ehren, Esq, David Fried,
Evan Greenfield, John Griffin, Michael
Loudis, Tyler Moore,
John Nash, Jacob Sammons and Jamie
Zambrana. The committee is hard at work to make this year's
tournament another huge success. The event will feature a great day
of golf, beginning with a shotgun start after lunch and
registration. We will be playing a scramble format, best ball
plays. Participants will be able to enter various competitions held
in conjunction with the tournament for prizes. A silent auction for
sports memorabilia and entertainment experiences will also be held.
Following the tournament, there will be an awards ceremony and
dinner.
"It's exciting to be the Chair of our Second Annual Golf
Tournament. The tournament is a fun and important annual event to
support the mission of Debbie's Dream Foundation," said
Jonathan Perrillo. "As a DDF Board
member, I am excited about the growth of the organization and the
addition of a golf tournament. Thanks to the generosity of the many
people who make it successful, we will be able to make a
significant difference in funding for stomach cancer research."
The cost for an individual player is $200 and $700 for a
foursome. Tournament registration includes green fees, range balls,
cart rental, lunch and dinner. Tournament contests include first,
second and third place team score, Closest to the Pin, and the
Longest Drive. Ads and tributes in the event program book can also
be purchased.
Sponsorships are available and include event registration,
promotion opportunities, and more. For more information on the golf
