Business4Better UK offers a unique opportunity for organisations
to showcase the work they do and demonstrate first-hand why
businesses would benefit from partnering with them. The two-day
event will also feature a stimulating programme of workshops,
seminars, immersive experiences and case-studies that will bring
together experts, practitioners, thought-leaders and agents of
change, offering inspiration, motivation and practical help to
anyone seeking to create meaningful partnerships between the
not-for-profit and commercial sectors.
UBM plc Chief Executive Officer David
Levin commented: "The overwhelming response from the
not-for-profit sector to Business4Better UK demonstrates the
appetite for an event that truly connects business with the
Voluntary Sector. We are delighted by the range of organisations
taking part and we look forward to seeing partnerships being
created as a result of this exciting initiative."
One of the exhibiting organisations, Cancer Research, added:
"Cancer Research UK is delighted to be playing an active role in
this year's Business4Better. This event provides a great forum for
us to share our experience of how to create market-leading,
mutually beneficial and commercially driven partnerships between
companies and charities. We also hope that Business4Better will act
as a platform for Cancer Research UK to start conversations with
like-minded companies and explore possible partnerships for the
future." (Caroline Silke, Head of
Corporate Partnerships, Cancer Research UK)
Business4Better UK is free to attend for not-for-profits, social
enterprises and business. The event is designed for anyone already
thinking about the benefit of partnerships, or for those seeking
advice and support before they take their first steps. Visitors
will be able to explore how further to progress a partnership and
have a chance to meet those ready to engage in conversation.
The National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO), the
largest umbrella body for the voluntary and community sector in
England, have been confirmed as
official partner for the event.
