Credit Agricole SA (ACA.FR) has appointed Martine Boutinet as new chief compliance officer, the French bank said Wednesday.

Ms. Boutinet, whose appointment is effective as of Jan. 1, replaces Stephane Priami, who was named deputy chief executive.

She will also join the executive committee. The new compliance chief has had several roles at the bank's investment banking division, most recently as head of compliance.
