CompuDyne Announces $7.9 Million of New Awards for February, 2007

CompuDyne Corporation (NASDAQ:CDCY), an industry leader in
sophisticated security products, integration and technology for the
public security markets, announced that it had a total of $7.9
million in new awards during the month of February, 2007.
Institutional Security Systems (ISS) reported no awards for the
month. Formal awards have been slow during the early part of 2007,
however ISS has several significant projects where it believes it
will be formally selected in the near future. Public Safety &
Justice had $2.6 million in selection awards and maintenance
renewals. This total includes the previously announced $1.9 million
Riverside County, CA award. Attack Protection had $4.5 million of
new awards during the month. This included a significant but
confidential project in the U.S. and an undisclosed U.S. embassy
project. Integrated Electronics Systems had $0.8 million in awards.
