Marriott International is the official hotel sponsor of
USA Swimming, the national
governing body of swimming in the United
States. As part of the sponsorship, Marriott provides
USA Swimming's 300,000 members
with special member benefits, and is the preferred hotel brand for
all USA Swimming
events.
As a part of Marriott's partnership, a percentage of every
hotel stay booked through the member travel portal will benefit the
USA Swimming Foundation's Make a
Splash initiative. Each year, Marriott will match those dollars to
provide free or low cost swimming lessons.
Proceeds from the Golden Goggle Awards will benefit the
USA Swimming Foundation, whose
mission is to save lives and build champions – in the pool and in
life. In addition to its Make a Splash initiative, a national,
child-focused water safety campaign that stresses the importance of
learning to swim, the USA Swimming
Foundation supports the U.S. National Team and its development
efforts aim to establish an endowment to strengthen the future of
USA Swimming's programs and
services.
