Item 2.02.Results of Operations and Financial Condition
On October 23, 2019, Stepan Company (“Stepan”) issued a press release providing its financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2019. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
In addition, on October 23, 2019, Stepan issued a press release announcing that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend on its common stock of $0.275 per share. The dividend will be paid on December 13, 2019, to common stockholders of record on November 29, 2019. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.2 hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
