Dr. Hutchinson was also named to the list in 2014. Since then,
he has continued his commitment to serving as a leader at WGL by
providing a competitive edge through an overall branding and
transformation strategy to meet evolving market demands. He has
successfully led WGL’s increase in the government and commercial
markets and played a key role in expanding the company’s economic
development and distributed generation solutions. It is because of
his ability to facilitate change and profitable growth that Dr.
Hutchinson has again been honored with this award.
“The holistic transformation that has taken place at WGL in the
last year has a great deal to do with our commitment to diversity
of both talent and asset-based energy solutions,” said Dr.
Hutchinson. “Our diversity reflects the communities we serve in
D.C. and across the nation, and it has positively contributed to
WGL’s 168-year long history of success. Our energy answers –
ranging from natural gas to solar to comprehensive systems such as
Distributed Impact – demonstrate how diversity has directly
transformed our company.”
To celebrate his honor on the Savoy Top 100 for 2016, Dr.
Hutchinson was also selected to participate in the NYSE Closing
Bell ceremony last week, alongside other corporate leaders and
honorees.
