today it has named Mark Monarres as
its VP of Yield Management and Business Operations. In this role,
Monarres will oversee pricing strategies and drive revenue as
Adaptive Media continues to build world-class solutions for digital
content and advertising.
Monarres joins the company after recently serving as VP of Ad
Operations at Phunware, the only fully integrated services platform
that enables brands to engage, manage, and monetize their anytime
anywhere users. Prior to Phunware, Monarres was Senior Director of
Ad Operations at online advertising company Looksmart, where he was
responsible for the performance of all network paid search and
display campaigns. Previously, he held executive positions at
Traffic Marketplace and Specific Media.

Digital video advertising spend reached $41.5 billion in the first half of 2014, a 13%
increase over the year-ago period, according to the Interactive
Advertising Bureau. A recent report by Forrester Research forecasts
marketers will spend more than $103
billion on online video ads, search marketing, display
advertising, social media marketing and e-mail marketing by 2019.
Additionally, the amount spent on digital media is expected to
surpass the spend for broadcast and cable TV combined.
