Disposals and Results Date Notification

Disposals

The Food & Drink Group PLC announces that it has exchanged contracts for the
disposal of its one remaining restaurant, Canyon in Richmond, for gross
consideration of #1.2m, to be satisfied in cash at completion on 2 January 2007.

The Group also announces that it completed the disposal of its site in Camden
for #0.2m. 

These two disposals will give rise to a profit on disposal of around #0.5m.
The sales proceeds will be used to fund the on-going expansion of the Group's
core bar business.

Results announcement

The Food & Drink Group PLC will be announcing its preliminary results for the 52
weeks ending 23 September 2006 on Thursday, 7 December 2006.
